SUPERMAN #7 Preview
Superman #7 is the start of the new story arc in the DCnU Superman series and marks the end of George Perez’s lack luster run and the start of Dan Jurgen’s.
I gave it a read and I was bummed by the time I got to the last page of the preview, not because it was bad but because it was over! The writing is markedly better, it’s witty, fresh and funny. Superman doesn’t talk like he’s in a highschool drama club anymore (as per the Perez run) and art and coloring are closer to the work see in Action Comics which is a wonderful departure from the 80’s revival art that we saw during Perez’s run.
Based on the preview I’m confident in giving this new arc a thumbs up and my highest recommendations.
